Verify renters before they pick up your car
To check renters without a marketplace, confirm who they are and what insurance they claim before pickup, on every booking. Rentovation sends the renter a link to check their ID and driver's license ($1.50 per check) and their insurance document ($2.00 per check). The results show on the booking before you hand over keys.

ID and driver's license check
Send the renter a link to check their ID and driver's license with Vouched. Each check uses a prepaid credit. If a check is rejected, the booking shows the reason, such as a name that does not match the ID.
Insurance-document check
The renter shares their insurance details through MeasureOne. Each check uses a prepaid credit. Document verification does not guarantee insurance coverage. It confirms what the renter's document shows, not whether it covers your car or your rental. Confirm what your insurer requires.
Dates are checked again before the trip
A license or policy can expire between booking and pickup. Rentovation compares the expiry dates from the checks with the trip, flags a problem on the booking, alerts you and reminds the renter with the link they already have. It does not cancel the booking, block pickup or run a new paid check by itself.
Where the results show
Each booking's checklist shows the driver's license and insurance results next to payment, deposit, agreement and the pickup inspection. You can resend a link or record your own decision from the customer page.
What the checks are not
- Not a background check. Background checks are not available.
- Not proof of insurance coverage for your rental.
- Not a promise that a renter or a booking is safe. Run the same checks on every renter and decide each rental yourself.

What does an ID check cost?
Each ID and driver's license check uses a prepaid credit at $1.50. Each insurance-document check uses a prepaid credit at $2.00.
Does the insurance check mean the renter is covered?
No. It checks the insurance document the renter shares. It does not guarantee coverage for your car or your rental. Confirm what your insurer requires.
Does Rentovation run background checks?
Not today. Background checks are not available.
Will a failed check stop the rental?
Not on its own. The result shows on the booking, with the reason when a check is rejected. The check does not cancel the booking or block pickup. You decide whether to hand over the keys.
