1Now column: 1Now's own pages, checked September 30, 2026. A row describes what each company publishes, not how well a feature works.
What does each cost at your fleet size?
A pricing model only matters at the size you actually run, so here is the published price for the same fleet on both, using the cheapest 1Now plan that fits it.
| Fleet | Rentovation Starter | 1Now, month to month |
|---|---|---|
| 5 vehicles | $197/mo | $150/mo (Essential) |
| 10 vehicles | $197/mo | $150/mo (Essential) |
| 15 vehicles | $197/mo | $260/mo (Plus) |
| 25 vehicles | $197/mo | $260/mo (Plus) |
| 40 vehicles | $197/mo | Custom quote (Enterprise) |
Published month-to-month prices, checked September 30, 2026. 1Now prices Enterprise by custom quote, so that row is left unpriced rather than estimated, and it does not publish its annual prepaid prices. Rentovation Pro is $297/mo, or $197/mo as Pro Founder while founder seats last.[1]
Who should pick which?
Pick 1Now if
- You run 10 or fewer cars and price decides it. 1Now Essential is $150/mo; Rentovation Starter is $197/mo, $47 more.[1]
- You keep Turo running beside your own site and want calendar sync in both directions. 1Now says its Turo sync is two-way; ours is one-way.[2]
- You want onboarding included in the price. 1Now includes onboarding on every plan and says most operators are live within 48 hours.[1]
- You want automatic toll billing or GPS tracking. 1Now lists both on its solution page; Rentovation offers neither.[4]
Pick Rentovation if
- You run more than 10 cars. From 11 to 25 cars 1Now Plus is $260/mo; Rentovation Starter stays $197/mo at any fleet size, $63 less.[1]
- More than one person logs in. 1Now Essential includes 1 user and Plus includes 5; Rentovation has no team limit on either plan.[1]
- You want marketing work done for you. Pro adds the AI local SEO engine and up to 3 SEO articles a week for your storefront blog.
- You want more choice of processor. 1Now lists Stripe, Square and PayPal; Rentovation also connects Braintree and Authorize.net.[1]
- You are leaving 1Now and want your data to come with you. The migration wizard imports vehicles, customers and bookings from CSV files and recognizes 1Now's vehicle export.
Where is Rentovation the weaker choice?
A vendor comparison is only worth reading if it says this part plainly, so here it is.
- Price at 10 cars or fewer. We cost $47/mo more than 1Now Essential.[1]
- Turo sync is one-way. A Turo trip blocks the car on Rentovation, but a Rentovation booking does not block Turo, so you block those dates on Turo yourself. 1Now says its sync works both ways.[2]
- Verification has a per-check cost. Each ID check uses a $1.50 credit and each insurance check a $2.00 credit. 1Now lists verification on every plan and publishes no per-check price on its pricing page.[1]
- No automatic toll billing or GPS tracking. 1Now lists automatic toll billing and live GPS on its solution page.[4]
- Our trial asks for a card at signup. 1Now's sign-up page says its 7-day trial needs no credit card, though ours runs 14 days.[3]
How do you switch from 1Now to Rentovation?
- Export your vehicles, customers and bookings from 1Now as CSV files. If you cannot find an export for one of them, ask 1Now support for it.
- Start a Rentovation trial and open the migration wizard from Fleet: Start the switch while the fleet is empty, or Import fleet only, then Import my whole business. Pick 1NOW export as the source, upload your CSV files, and check the column mapping, especially for bookings, before you import.
- Read the import receipt. Rows that could not be matched go to a downloadable exceptions file; fix them and import again, and a second run never creates duplicates. Imported bookings do not send renter emails, payment links or deposit holds.
- Connect your own payment processor in Settings. Saved renter cards cannot move between systems, so renters enter a card again on their next booking.
- If you still list on Turo, set up Turo Calendar Sync in Settings. Only new Turo emails are forwarded, so add trips you already have as manual blocks on each car.
- Run both systems until the bookings already made on the old one are complete. Then point your domain and your links at your Rentovation storefront, and cancel the old subscription.
